As a mum of two and a hands on auntie to my nephew and niece, AFTER BUYING EXPENSIVE COLORFUL TOYS AND GAMES, i SOON realised that most babies and toddlers, actually preferred to play with anything that IS NOT "REALLY" a toy !

 

both MY TWO DAUGHTERS AGED 4 AND 2 DEFINITELY LIKE TO PLAY WITH BITS AND BOBS FROM AROUND THE HOUSE! THINGS THAT ARE "NATURAL OR REAL LOOKING" WHETHER IT BE THE TV REMOTE OR A WOODEN SPOON AND SAUCEPAN.

AFTER BEING IN the national pandemic LOCKDOWN WITH A NEWBORN BABY, I SADLY FELT SHE AND I HAD REALLY MISSED OUT ON INTERACTING WITH OTHER BABIES AND MEETING OTHER PARENTS. I ATTENDED SO MANY Amazing BABY CLUBS WITH MY 1ST BORN THAT WHEN LOCK DOWN lifted slightly, I REALLY STRUGGLED TO FIND ANY CLUBS With space for me and my baby. THIS THEN GAVE ME THE IDEA TO START MY OWN BABY GROUP and to include my love for messy play, simple hand made activities and toys. both my daughters are the perfect tester's for all MY CREATIONS that are USED AT bits and bobs. "they DO love most of mummies creations"

WHY A STAY AND PLAY A NOT A FULL HOST LED GROUP ?

​

FROM MY Experiences AS A MUM AT MANY DIFFERENT "FANTASTIC" BABY GROUPS THAT were STRUCTURE AND HOST LED, I REALISED THAT SO MANY MUM'S JUST WANTED TO SPEAK TO THE MUM SAT NEXT TO THEM IN THE CIRCLE. I COULD SEE THE NEED FOR A PLAY & STAY ALTERNATIVE. A GROUP WHERE YOU ARE FREE TO PARTICIPATE IN AS LITTLE OR AS MUCH AS YOU WISH, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU CAN TALK TO OTHER MUM'S, DAD'S OR WHO EVER IT MAY BE TO GET SUPPORT FROM EACH OTHER AND MUCH NEEDED ADULT CONVERSATION, AS LETS FACE IT, IT CAN BE VERY HARD TO BE WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES ALL DAY WITHOUT ANYONE TO SPEAK. SO BITS AND BOBS WILL BE HERE FOR YOU! personally for my daughters at some groups i found that the items given out were then tided up / taken away from them to quickly, before they had really explored and understood them, so again i wanted to avoid a led session and let the little ones play with the items as long as they want to.

a Long WITH OUT THEME WEEK ITEMS, weekly we have a baby sensory area & TENT with lights and sounds. a dressing up box, a treasure box, a musical instrument box, traditional TOYS  learning and sensory RESOURCES for both babies and toddlers. a natural box, A BOOK BOX, wooden puzzles, shape sorters, interactive toys, tents, tunnels ride on cars, happyland, story TIME. nursery RHYMES AND SONG TIME. 12FT PARACHUTE FUN, BUBBLES AND BOB THE BEAR STICKERS FOR EVERYONE, some weeks will include role play,messy play and a craft. look out for our season specials including Easter, summer time fun, Halloween and Christmas.

hayley holds a current music licence, d.b.s certificate. basic first aid , SAFEGUARDING TRAINING AND is fully insured, any documents you wish to see please feel free to ask.

With Hayleys 21 years experience as dental nurse, hygiene is second nature, it is vital in the current climate, that you can be assured that after each session every item is cleaned and sanitised. textile items are washed at a 60 degree cycle using dettol anti Bactria cleaner. some items are single use only and are disposed of appropriately.
